Advice
RGU: UNION Advice
The best way to deal with problems and worries is to face them straight on as soon as they occur. There is no need to panic or feel on your own. At the Student Association we have staff members and elected officers who are here to listen and direct you to the skilled staff within the University who are there to help.
For general information on a huge variety of topics ranging from Leisure to Health, Finance to What’s on at the Union you will find leaflets on display on the ground floor of RGU:Union.
If you are new to Aberdeen then check out the chaplaincy website at www.rgu.ac.uk/chaplaincy for information about places of worship in the city. Alternatively you can speak to Daniel French (Contact Tel. below) or email chaplaincy@rgu.ac.uk and he will be glad to help.
The university also has a room set aside for prayer or quiet reflection which is on the top floor of the Student Association Building. Daniel is available to students who need help with a pastoral matter, spiritual guidance or just an impartial listening ear.
