Netball

The RGU netball club
Founded in 2003, the RGU netball team have overcome many challenges set before them and exceeded all expectations held by everyone, as no-one expected a team that had just started out, to go so far!
Since 2003 the netball team have consecutively won the annual granite city challenge, have been promoted up a division and have successfully got through to the British Championships league.
As a team, RGU grow stronger every year, grow fitter every year and grow closer together.
Every year, the club looks forward to gaining new members of all abilities. The team views themselves not only as a sports club but as a group of friends who enjoy keeping fit and socialising together.
Members Thoughts
Since joining the netball team I have met heaps of new people not just in our sports team but in other sports teams. The RGU netball club all have different abilities making it easy for players of all levels to join. Apart from anything, the social aspect is great fun.

Joining RGU netball has been an excellent experience. I have met a whole new group of friends and also been able to advance in my netball. I was chosen to play for the Scottish Universities team and played at the BUSA championships, something that I will never forget.
