Rugby

The RGU Mens Rugby team will be running one team in the BUSA league this year with the aim of gaining promotion and winning the league outright, as well as regaining the granite city challenge from Aberdeen in March. We will also be entering a team into the Aberdeen touch rugby leagues in the spring as well as entering a number of the local seven a side tournaments in the summer. The last few years has seen some of our members go on to play for the Scottish University team, a feat we hope some of the guys can achieve this year.

Training is going to take place along with Gordonians Rugby Club at Counteswells on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

With the annual pub golf outing being arranged for Freshers Week it promises to be yet another night of carnage to set the tone for the year.
