Lena Schinkel
Vice President (Environment & Ethics)
Course: Forensic & Analytical Science
Year: 4th Year
Manifesto Aims:
My name is Lena Schinkel and I’m a fourth year student in Forensic and Analytical Science. I decided to run for the position of your VP of Environment and Ethics because I want to use and share my experiences in this field to make RGU more sustainable. I was an active member of Greenpeace Germany and I have a scholarship of a German green political foundation. I hope this qualifies me to make a good job as your VP of Environment and Ethics.
My main aim is to make people aware of their behaviour. I want to give them ideas how to behave easily more sustainable without big restrictions. I will strongly support campaigns that give students new impressions about the ethical background of sustainability. It is important to me to give interested students the chance to discuss environmental and ethical issues. I also want to cooperate with the university to create opportunities that makes it easier for students to act more responsible towards the environment. I will do my best to ensure that the student association is at all times acting in an environmentally friendly and ethical manner.
