At the heart of every good university is a good Student Union, and RGU is no exception! Situated slap-bang in the middle of Aberdeen’s City Centre (just a minute’s walk from Union St), RGU:Union is the city’s one and only venue exclusively for students, and has been our home for 35 years.
The building has seen a number of changes over the years, and a recent spend of over £250,000 saw major improvements to the Union from top to toe, resulting in a sparkling new bar on the second floor, top notch cafe facilities, brand new study workstations on the ground floor, plus much, much more throughout the entire building.
The building is open from 8am until 1am during the week, and from 12pm until 2am at weekends.

The Union is your venue, so make the most of it! Have your birthday party in one of our bars, let us host your class night out or society get together. MULTI-FAITH PRAYER ROOM
We have a multi-faith prayer room located on the third floor of the Union building, available to use 7 days a week until 1am.
