Student Volunteering Scotland Gold Awards

Have you shown leadership, dedication and/or leadership whilst volunteering? If so you will be eligable to be nominated to recieve a Student Volunteering Scotland Gold Award. The Gold Awards are the only national accreditation of student volunteering in Scotland. The Awards will highlight the outstanding contributions of a select number of student volunteers. Anyone can nominate a volunteer and the Scarlets and Golds Awards Committee will decide on the winners. The criteria for the Gold awards must reward excellence by students in one of the areas of volunteering recognised by Studnet Volunteering Scotland. These are:

2008 Gold Awards Winners were Mark Cunningham who is a Project Scotland Volunteer and Editor of Reform as well as the RGU represntative on the Studnet Volunteer Scotland board and Lynsey Haugh who over the past 4-5 years has had a number of volunteering roles from setting up RugRag and being it's president to being the Entertainments Officer within the Union to name a few.
