Societies

The main purpose of The Applied Social Sciences Society (ASSS) is to provide a social aspect to the course. As members of the Society students will be able to socialise with other members outwith the university setting which in turn can result in deeper discussions in seminars and lectures.
ASSS host a variety of events throughout the year including themed nights, pub quizzes and an end of year ball. We also hold events in which we fundraise for CLIC Sargent, a charity that works hard to support young people and children living with cancer.
We also offer peer support and are the Society membership is open to all. Please feel free to contact us via email or on our Facebook page.
