The RGU Marketing Society was founded in 2020. Our mission is to be a fully inclusive social and academic society for all students with an interest in marketing. We are responsible for organising events that increase knowledge and awareness of the marketing industry as well as providing key networking opportunities. We also have links to Marketing Society Scotland.


Our Aims

  • To promote the study and enjoyment of marketing within RGU and in the community.
  • To Facilitate students across all disciplines in the learning of marketing development by providing information and advice.
  • To arrange interesting and engaging educational courses, seminars, workshops and tours, inviting industry speakers and professionals to participate and share experience and knowledge.
  • To engage with marketing on campus through a wide range of initiatives lead by students
  • To promote networking between the Marketing Society members and industry to facilitate future employment opportunities.   

Marketing is an industry which affects every business in the world, an understanding of this is crucial to all potential business owners/managers.
