The atmosphere was alight with fans crowded in a small venue to sing along to their favourite songs. There was no need for over the top lights or crazy gimmicks, just a good old-fashioned gig.
The setlist was well thought out, including most of the songs from their new album but throwing in a few old favourites from their past two albums; such as Anemophobia and Boston Square.
It was easy to tell that a lot of the crowd has grown with the band from the way they were singing along to some of the deeper and emotional lyrics. Yet, it is so easy to resonate with these songs if you’ve ever hit hard times, suffered from self-loathing or turned to alcohol as an escape.
The set ended with an electric three-song encore, hitting it off with Trigger the first single off their new album and tying it up with Anemophobia Part Two.
The band has since said on their Twitter account that this will be their last UK tour for a while. Fear not, you can still catch them on their German tour if you are willing to make the trip.
