Food Donation Points

RGU:Union is working with local charity Aberdeen Cyrenians whose services have provided support to students in need and across the local community. We have introduced food donation points on campus where students and staff can drop off much needed food items.

 

Food donations points are located in every building, below is where you can find them:

  • Gray’s School of Art - beside the stairs in the main entrance
  • Garthdee House Annex - reception area
  • Ishbel Gordon Building - next to Starbucks
  • Sir Ian Wood Building - between Costa and Jamie Oliver's Deli
  • RGU:Union - Kaim Shop
  • RGU Sport - outside Streetsport

 

To find out what the highest priority items are, please refer to the list below:

  • Tinned food - such as fruit, vegetables, meat and fish
  • Instant meals - such as pot noodles and super noodles
  • Desserts - such as custards and rice pudding
  • Sauces - such as curry or pasta
  • UHT Milk - longlife milk
  • Biscuits - snack items such as cereal bars
  • Rice - microwave rice pouches
