ABSOC is a space at RGU inspired by the values of the Ahlulbayt, like justice, compassion and doing good for others. Although we aim to bring together the Shia students in Aberdeen, our society is open to everyone regardless of faith or background.
ABSOC is a place to learn, have respectful conversations with people from different backgrounds, and get involved in good causes. We will be running various types of events, from study circles, social events, charity work, to collaborations with other societies throughout the year.
If you are interested in faith or community, and would like the opportunity to meet new people and take part in good causes...then ABSOC is the space for you!
