Motion results summary from RGU:Union's Annual General Meeting for the academic year 2015-2016.
There was a fantastic turnout this evening for our Annual General Meeting. Huge thanks to all that showed up. We had over 155 on the sign-in sheets, that's double last year's turnout!
Motion results summary:
- Motion 1 (Changing the academic calendar, move exams before Christmas) passed with an amendment stipulating the need to gather more student input.
- Motion 2 (Bring back our Union) passed, with an amendment which removed the option of exploring collaborative ventures with other institutions.
- Motion 3 (Study skills for college entry third year students) did not pass.
