5:24pm on 21 Apr 21 Really nice staff, I have experienced at both Old Fire Station and Causeway View. However, the pricing is horrific for what you get. At Causeway View I paid an extra £200 more (A MONTH!) than a flatmate who bought the exact same package as me. She had booked her room a week or two later than I had, and got a "last minute offer". Since I was returning to Unite Students for a second year, I had asked for any available discounts to which I was told not possible, unless I had booked while I was still staying with them the year before - not sure the fairness of that either. I once asked the staff about it and they shrugged it off like it's just the way the world works. You can get a whole flat for 3 or 4 people for the same monthly price as a bedroom in a shared flat with 8 people at Unite. I'd recommend (unless it is your first year away from home) to just go with a private landlord.
