Sia vs. David Guetta & Afrojack – Helium 

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler is an Australian singer-songwriter, record producer and music video directorShe is well-known for collaborations with artists such as David Guetta, Rihanna and Flo Rida with their songs TitaniumDiamonds, and Wild Ones respectively.  

Pierre David Guetta is a French DJ, songwriter, record producer and remixer. He released his first albumJust a Little More Lovein 2002, but fell short of prevailing success until his 2009 album, One Love, which featured the No.1 single When Love Takes OverGuetta has sold over nine million albums and 30 million singles worldwide. 

Nick van de Wall, more commonly known by his stage name Afrojack, is a Dutch DJ, record producer and remixer. He often collaborates with David Guetta, featuring in songs such as Hey Mama and Another Life. In 2011, he featured in Pitbull's number 1 hit single Give Me Everything and also contributed to Beyoncé’s single Run the World (Girls).

The original version of Sia’s Helium featured on the soundtrack for Fifty Shades Darker last year. She has now teamed up with David Guetta and Afrojack to create a fiery dance remix of the powerful song to benefit MAC Cosmetics AIDs fund, with all proceeds going straight to the charity. With strong vocals and impressive lyrics, the upbeat and electric backing music successfully turns the song into an intense dance track.  

 

P!nk – Whatever You Want

Alecia Beth Moore, known professionally as P!nk, is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. Pink rose as an artist with her debut solo album, Can't Take Me Home in 2000.  

She revived her popularity with her fifth studio album, Funhouse, released in 2008. The album contained her second US number-one hit, So WhatHer other top-ten singles include Raise Your GlassBlow Me (One Last Kiss), and Just Give Me a Reason. She is one of the world’s best-selling music artists with her strong vocals earning her 40 million albums and 50 million singles sold worldwide.  

Whatever You Want was a promotional single for Pink’s seventh studio albumBeautiful Trauma. The uplifting power ballad refers to a difficult choice faced in a relationship, whether to hold on or let go when both parties believe that the other is in the wrong. The highly influential lyrics narrate the struggle of trying to resolve the problem faced, but the couple continues to hold out hope that things will get better.  

 

 

Thirty Seconds to Mars – Dangerous Night 

Thirty Seconds to Mars is an American rock band formed in 1998. They achieved worldwide fame with the release of their second album A Beautiful Lie in 2005. In 2009 the release of This Is War showed a dramatic evolution in the band's musical styleAs of September 2014, the band had sold over 15 million albums worldwide.   

Dangerous Night is an intimate and uplifting song distinguished by a joyous and enchanting nature. It marked a strong separation from much of the band's previous work as it combines a gentler sound with elements from electronic dance music. The song is infused with influences from arena rock and atmospheric music. 

 

 

HRVY – Personal 

Harvey Leigh Cantwell is most commonly known by his stage name HRVY. At just 18-years-old and with over 2million followers on Instagram, he is already a successful singer and television presenter. His first singleThank You, was released in 2013 and in 2016 he was signed on as a full-time host on the BBC television show, Friday Download. In 2017, he released his Holiday EP, which included the hit single Phobia. 

Personal is a dynamic pop song about young love and heartbreak. The sorrowful lyrics are overshadowed by the positive energy radiating from the fanciful vocals and the energetic dance tune.
