Champions are the voices of underrepresented and liberation groups at RGUSU.
Champions are volunteer student representatives, recruited by the Students’ Union, who work to amplify the voices of students who define into under-represented groups or those with protected characteristics, to ensure everyone’s experience on campus is recognised and valued.
Champions lead on liberation campaigns, events, fundraisers, and representation projects across the University, working closely with Student Networks, Staff Action Groups, and their equivalent Staff Equality Champions to ensure that RGU supports and maintains a vibrant, diverse and inclusive culture.
How Can You Get Involved?
Could you be one of our next Champions? Do you want to drive change at RGU? Could you help make life better for our diverse student community? Champions work with the University and the SU to represent student voices and make a real difference. This is your chance to stand up, speak out, and shape a more inclusive campus for everyone.
