AI Integration.
My key priority is to champion the integration of AI meaningfully into the RGU learning experience so that our students become active contributors to the global generation pioneering innovation and creativity. By promoting responsible, ethical, and skills-focused AI use in education, I will ensure that every student at RGU is equipped not just to adapt to the future, but to shape it, using AI as a tool for smarter learning, enhanced problem-solving, and global competitiveness
I will advocate for stronger pathways from university to employment by promoting meaningful employer partnerships, increasing networking opportunities, and expanding practical career engagement for all students. University success should not end at graduation, and I am committed to ensuring that every student is supported in transitioning confidently into meaningful employment. I will also work to create clearer, more accessible routes to industry placement opportunities for interested student
Every student deserves to be heard and represented without fear, bias, or judgement. I will promote open, safe, and responsive channels of communication so that students can raise academic, social, or wellbeing concerns with confidence. “See something, say something!” will be a core message of my leadership, encouraging honest engagement, strengthening trust in our representation structures, and ensuring that no student feels overlooked or unheard. By fostering a culture where speaking up leads
The biggest challenge facing RGU students today is AI misuse, not because students lack ability, because many lack clear guidance, support, and confidence in how to use AI ethically and academically. The rapid rise of artificial intelligence has left students unsure of what is acceptable, how to avoid accidental misconduct, and how to use AI in a way that strengthens their learning instead of threatening their academic standing. This uncertainty creates fear, inconsistency, and risk to student
