Priority Aim

My priority aim for the rest of this academic year is to break down the stigma between RGU and other academic institutions within Aberdeen by working in collaboration with other student unions and hosting events to bring students across the city together. Alongside this I will be supporting and encouraging community led events within and outwith campus

What is the biggest issue currently facing RGU students, and how will you work with the rest of the Student Presidents and Vice Presidents to tackle this?

I believe one of the biggest issues students at RGU face is the consistent comparison between other academic institutions. There seems to be a harsh competition and judgement between ourselves and other institutions in Aberdeen which causes an unhealthy rivalry. My aim to help break this stigma can help this rivalry come to an end, giving a healthy working relationship between ourselves and other student unions, benefitting societies, clubs, networks, overall bettering the student experience.
