I’m Ross Leven, a final-year International Business Management Student, running for the positions of President (Communication and Democracy) and Undergraduate Governor.

If I am elected as Undergraduate Student Governor, I will ensure that students' views are effectively represented and that I effectively help to shape the strategic direction and management of the University.

Ross’ experience:

Current Vice President (Education) at RGU:Union

  • Currently the RGU:Union representative on RGU's Academic Council. The Council is responsible to the Board of Governors for the overall planning, coordination, development and supervision of the academic work of the University as well as being responsible for maintaining the academic standards of the University.
  • Successfully worked with key members of the University Management Group as well as individual School Management.
  • I have a thorough understanding of the key issues that impact students and how these should be represented on the University's Board of Governors.

  • Nominated by the Union's staff for NUS Scotland Student of the Year 2020
  • Awarded RGU Volunteer of the Year 2018
