Running for - President Communication & Democracy

I am a 4th Year Management with Marketing Student. I am the current Student School Officer for ABS & also the President of Erasmus student network in RGU. Being a student at RGU for the past four years and having taken part in many student body-related activities, I have an understanding and appreciation for the students & the university. Also, I believe in working towards the welfare and success of the university. I personally have benefitted so much from RGU and it has opened various avenues for me; hence I wish the same for the current/future students.

Aims and Objectives if elected -

International student’s employment

  • Work with the University Careers department in improving the employment rate for the International students (Create more job opportunities for International Graduates).

More eco-friendly and sustainable campus

  • Work towards reducing plastic use in canteens and coffee shops on campus by introducing incentives. Analyse and take action; to increase products within the campus that are eco-friendly and possible to recycle.

Create a social hub on Campus

  • As one the first project’s; act on creating a space on campus for more social events to happen; especially for societies (e.g. campus events/parties).
  • Maybe bring back bar on campus and have a place where students can socialise outside study hours in the campus. This is important as there are about 4-5 student accommodations around RGU campus.

Improve facilities on the campus

  • I would like to use the Ideas & opinions of students to improve facilities on campus.

Heighten the student voice & interaction
