More Than 80 Events

We've put together a huge line-up of events, taking place day and night across two weeks, from the 9th September right through until the 23rd. These include tours of the city centre, live music and acoustic sessions, course introduction icebreakers, BBQ's, pool competitions, sports events, street art tours, plus our annual Freshers Free Film Festival in association with Vue Cinema. Also, brand new to our line up are two massive all-day terrace parties hosted by Revolution.

Don't forget about FreshFest 2017, which will be taking place on Tuesday 19th September at the Beach Ballroom. We'll be announcing full details about this event soon, but expect live music, stand-up comedy, a traditional Scottish ceilidh with live band, plus our huge RGU Freshers pub quiz! Find out more about our new FreshFest Wristbands further down the page.

Our headline nightclub events are listed below, and will be hosted by three of the city's top venues, The Garage, Unit 51, and The Institute. Keep reading to find out how you can get hold of a Freshers Wristband and be part of all of these events.

Keep an eye on this page as we'll be adding information about all of our daytime and night events over the coming days.

Freshers Wristbands

RGU:Union and our affiliated nightclub venues, The Garage, Unit 51 and The Institute, have teamed up to bring you 20 top Freshers headline events, and you can be part of every night by buying an RGU Freshers 2017 Wristband!

This wristband will get you free entry to all RGU Freshers events taking place at The Garage, Unit 51 and The Institute, our very own FreshFest 2017, along with some top discounts and offers available throughout Freshers (more details about these will be released soon).

Wristbands are available to pre-order now using the links below, and will also be available during Freshers, although we only have limited stocks so we suggest buying yours now to avoid disappointment.

It's important to note that because The Garage, Unit 51 and The Institute are over 18s venues, you will not be allowed in if you cannot prove your age. This means that if you are under 18, sadly we can't sell you a Freshers Wristband. However, you will be able to purchase one of our brand new FreshFest Wristbands, which will get you entry to our FreshFest 2017 event, plus the same discounts and offers as with our main Freshers Wristband.

We have a number of different wristband packages available, including RGU hoodies, NUS Extra discount cards and much more. Take a look below for more information.
