Are you a student leader? Our annual Student Election contains a number of full-time roles and part-time roles which allow you to represent students at different levels across the Union and University structures, and allow you to make a real difference to student life at RGU!

Student President roles play a key part in leading RGUSU and working with the university to improve student experience. It is a great opportunity to improve the lives of students at RGU but also to develop your own skills and enhance your CV.

Student President roles are full-time, paid positions for students who are either graduating this year or want to take a year out from their studies to represent RGU students.

Student Parliament Members are voluntary roles where students will shape key policies, debate ideas, and directly influence the direction of their SU. As an Elected Student Parliament member, you will be expected to attend Student Parliament meetings two times in an academic year, normally these will be held once during semester one and once during semester two. - does that sound okay just for the wee description on the page about student parliament?

If you have any further questions, talk to our team! We'll be more than happy to help. We are also running drop-in sessions for you to find out more about the election process, the roles available, and for you to ask any questions you have!
