CHANTAY PINAS

Hello my name is Chantay Pinas

I am currently the undergraduate governor doing the course International Business Management but however after my graduation I will be doing my Msc in Accounting and Finance! As an undergraduate governor I supported the board in

-Decicions made on Gray school of art

-Assisted in different commitees

-Assited in new Principal elections

-Assisted in multiple decision-making processes (Taking the students concerns into consideration)

Over my academic years I was able to explore my interest towards good governance and environmental issues and understanding how corporations implement these into their strategy plans which are the standards that I want to keep holding RGU to. I aim to support the university in making effective decisions taking into consideration the view and concerns that international PG students may face. Building strong partnerships, strategic vision and creating a sustainable environment at RGU for all.

-Assist as much as I can with the transit to our New Principal

-Regularly speak to Postgraduate students and voice their concerns to the board

-Work together with the board in order to keep enhancing Postgraduate experience

-Look together with students and the board at possibilities for assistance in research

-Work closely with RGU Union and Presidents to find out what is being said to them by students

These are just a few of the aims that I want to persue as your Postgraduate Governor
