This week we have Daan Roggeveen from MORE Architecture, which he founded alongside Robert Chen. Based in both Shanghai and Amsterdam, the practice combines big ideas with a sophisticated and dedicated design approach.
Some of their newest projects from MORE Architects include a boutique hotel in the mountains of Anji and a recently completed mixed use project in Jiaxing.
Daan, who studied Architecture at Delft University of Technology, is a fantastic writer, critic, architect and urban designer. He has also founded the research project Go West Project, which has a focus on Chinas emerging cities and urbanism.
