Gardening for everyone

Our gardening sub-group is open to all students who are interested in learning about sustainable planting and growing their own produce. Our garden is located in the Garthdee allotments next to campus.

One of our main goals is to make gardening more accessible to students who may not have access to their own outdoor space. By providing a space for students to grow vegetables and fruits, we hope to increase the awareness of sustainability in organic farming and food production. Not only is growing organic produce an environmentally-friendly practice, but it also is fun to get outside, relax and spend some time in the garden.

In addition to growing vegetables and fruits, we are also passionate about creating a habitat for beneficial insects. By planting insect-friendly plants, we hope to support the local ecosystem and promote biodiversity.

Whether you have experience with gardening or not, we welcome everyone to come along and join us. Our team is dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and creating a more environmentally-friendly future. So come and get your hands dirty with us, as we learn, grow and create a better tomorrow!
