As the 57°10 Architecture Society enters its 35th year, we continue to invite inspiring architects and designers from a range of disciplines to host a lecture, usually at 5pm, followed by dinner and drinks with the society members. These lectures, which are open to both students and members of the public, are held every Thursday in our facilities in RGU’s Sir Ian Wood Building.

Alongside the reputable lecture series, we are planning several creative workshops and social events throughout the academic year. This will give students in the society an opportunity to get to know one another and participate in an array of activities in different settings. This stems from our belief that architecture should be sociable and fun, and from our conviction that maintaining a healthy work/life balance is essential to getting the most out of our studies. In the past, socials have included beer pong, Mario Kart, gallery visits, sketch clubs and life drawing sessions.

If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch!
