A group for all those with an interest in skating!
We run weekly sessions at Linx Ice Arena with professional coaching for levels from complete beginners to more advanced skaters. Everyone is welcome, whether you've been skating for years or have never set foot on the ice.
This year our sessions will take place on Wednesdays, 2-3pm. We typically arrive a little earlier to warm up off the ice. We skate together with University of Aberdeen’s Ice Skating Society, so it’s a great chance to get to know people you might not otherwise meet.
Standard membership includes access to these sessions, plus any off-ice, social or other events that we run throughout the year.
If you aren't interested in being on the ice, we offer a Social-Only Membership which gives access to everything besides the skating sessions. This allows you to be a part of the society, join in on all our events, and get to know others interested in skating - even if you don't want to skate yourself!
In 2020 we also participated in the first Scottish Universities Ice-Skating Competition. Hopefully this will be able to run again in the future!
Check out our social media pages for regular updates, and feel free to contact us via them or by email at any time.

Covid-19 has had a major impact on the fashion industry. With many fashion retailers having to temporarily close their doors, resulting in staff either being furloughed by the government or losing their jobs. Whilst, some local fashion retailers and well-known fashion stores had to shut their doors permanently as they were not hitting the set income sales target for each of their individual retail stores.
John Lewis, the heart and soul of the Aberdeen community, is to close.
