At RGU cricket we are welcoming of players of all levels of experience, whether you have been playing all of your life or have never picked up a bat. Although we aim to win every game, we also aim to ensure that everyone who is a part of our club enjoys our training sessions and games.

Regular events include:
We have training weekly from 5-7pm in Sunday’s, with semi-regular indoor games against Aberdeen University throughout the winter. As well as this, we participate in Granite City Challenge in March. For outdoor games, we currently compete in BUCS Divison 2, where we play around 4 games at the end of April and throughout May.

Energy price increase set for the UK

Consumer regulator Ofgem has announced that the price cap on energy will increase on 1 April 2021 due to rising wholesale costs and growth in demand.

This means that a typical household on a default energy tariff could expect a bill increase of £96 per year.

This could affect around 11 million homes in England, Wales, and Scotland (Northern Ireland sets its own cap).

The cap for prepayment meter customers will increase by £87 per year, affecting around 4 million households.
