The AGM is RGU:Union's Annual General Meeting, this is basically a get together for any student who wants to have an impact at RGU, campaign for change and have your voice heard. This year the AGM will be held on Thursday 24th February at 4.30pm.

Students have the opportunity to submit their motions to the Union, a motion is basically any idea for change at the university. This could be anything that you think would improve your student experience. All of these motions will then be put forward at the AGM and students will have the chance to amend, debate and vote on them.

Once a motion is passed it is our policy, as the students’ union, to work on that motion. That is why this is such a valuable and important opportunity for all RGU students to get involved in and have your say.

Motion submissions open on Thursday 3rd February and stay open for a week, so get brainstorming all your ideas. What do you think could improve your student experience at RGU? What changes would you like to see here?

Keep an eye on our website and social media for submissions opening. We can't wait to see all your great ideas come in!
