Blizzcon has always been a big favourite with gamers globally as Blizzard has created some of the greatest games such as 'World of Warcraft', 'Diablo' and more recently worked with 'Overwatch'. Here was everything that was announced at Blizzcon to keep everyone updated.

For 'Heroes of the Storm', there was a new character being released in the form of Orphea who is a mid-ranged assassin connected with the Raven Lord.

There were three announcements for one of Blizzard’s most loved game – 'World of Warcraft' (WoW). Firstly WoW Classic will be released next Summer bringing players back to the game’s vanilla days and similar times within the Warcraft lore. In the most recent expansion, 'Battle for Azeroth' has a new sub-expansion when they played a cinematic called 'Lost Honor'. This has many gamers questioning whether Anduin of the Alliance and Saurfang of Orgrimmar will become allies as Anduin lets Saurfang out of his prison cell. In addition to WoW Classic, they unveiled a first look at 'Warcraft III: Reforged' which is a remake of both 'Reign of Chaos' and 'The Frozen Throne'. However, new visuals and gameplay featured will be implemented so it doesn’t look or feel too outdated. Along with WoW Classic, this is expected to be released in 2019.

'Warcraft' wasn’t the only game that had multiple announcements as 'Overwatch' released a new cinematic called 'Reunion' which focused on McCree and a dispute with the Deadlock Gang. The trailer gave gamers a glimpse of what may become a future playable character with Echo, the robot and reveals a new playable character called Ashe. Ashe is a damaged hero or DPS (damage per second) but she features some new abilities such as her gun which is called The Viper. This can aim down sights but she also has a shotgun which can knock players down. She also has a companion called Bob which is a robot who once activated will rush opponents in front of you in the air and then start shooting. Interestingly enough, he can be healed and powered up just like another member of the team. Yay Bob!

Linking back to WoW, 'Hearthstone' – the card game based around the WoW universe will also be getting some new, cool things added to it where you will have an additional 135 cards to play with in the new expansion – 'Rastakhan Rumble'. It will also have a new keyword Overkill and card types like Spirits and will release on December 4th and you can pre-order now!

Arguably, one of the most shocking announcements which resulted in public outcry from gamers across the globe – 'Diablo' finally got an announcement but for a mobile game called 'Diablo Immortal'. It attempts to bring Diablo’s crazy gameplay to portable devices such as your mobile or tablet. It will feature six different classes at launch: Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Crusader, Demon Hunter and Necromancer with more classes being released after launch. Each class will have a unique selection of 12 or more different skills to choose from.

These were just some of the many announcements made during Blizzcon. So, check out Blizzard's website for more details.
