RGU Athletics Club started in 2006 and since then the club has grown in numbers and has built up more of a social scene in recent years. The club offers track training at Aberdeen Sports Village on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as social runs throughout the week.
We have a variety of people that join the club, there are those that join looking to improve their fitness levels and to meet new people, but we also offer members the opportunity to compete in competitions such as Scottish and Britush University Championships, with athletes in recent years winning medals and reaching finals at these types of competitions.
