RGU Netball club has been running now since the year 2000 and continues to grow in numbers each year, going from one team to two in 2012, with a potential third team being created in the 2015-16 season. From winning most improved team at the annual Blues Ball in 2010 after our first win against Aberdeen University at the Granite City Challenge that year, and becoming champions at the ADNA Local League Division 2 in 2011, we continue to strive to achieve. Our Monday evening and Wednesday afternoon training sessions are taken weekly, now with the support of our external coaches that began in the 2014/2015 season; providing us with the highest level of coaching we have ever had as a club. Entering the BUCS league every year to compete against different universities across Scotland, as well as a team involved in the ADNA local league, we take netball very seriously, but are also passionate about the social side of the club, with weekly nights out and different events evenings and fundraising socials held each year.
After a fantastic year they were awarded with club of the year last year.
